Frequently Asked Questions

How much will my project cost?
With the variety of variables involved, we can not accurately "estimate" what your project will cost. Therefore, we offer a complete range of services to help you determine if your project idea is feasible, if further design is required, and to compile an accurate budget. We provide several different options, as well as complete design specifications, and an exact cost budget for your project. During this process we can show you how each change in the scope effects your budget, which helps to determine the best plan and most cost effective budget to meet your needs.

Please see the Cost Vs Value Report for additional informatoin.

Why do you charge fees for estimates?
We do not actually give you an "estimate"; we give you an actual cost for your project based on specific information. We are a quality focused company that has high standards of expectation for client satisfaction, and we spend a large quantity of time in compiling details in order to provide you with an accurate plan and budget. The costs of these services are credited in full to the completed project total.

Will this project add value to my home?
Most professional remodeling projects or improvements will add value to your home. There are many issues to consider when determining how much should be invested in a property when making an improvement. Some of these issues are, but not limited to: Purchase price verses current value (Equity); Amount of time projected to remain in the residence; Purpose for the remodel; Financial capability of the owners. In today's marketplace it is not uncommon for homeowners to commit to staying in the existing property and making improvements that exceed current marketability of the property.
